This role is responsible for:

• Responsible for the diagnostics, inspection and repairs of equipment as assigned which includes welding, fabrication, electrical, and brake systems
• Efficiently and reliably inspect cargo tanks to comply with DOT standards
• Perform HM field activities in a manner that complements national HM program compliance.
• Accurately completes all forms, checklists and other documentation as needed by company or regulatory policies and properly stores or distributes them.
• Maintain an organized and safe workshop before, during and after repairs
• Work with a high degree of independence and with a high level of productivity 
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with assigned customers and vendors. 
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Requirements for this position include

• Must hold HM-183 Cargo Tank Inspection Certificate
• FMCSA Annual Inspections experience
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal communication skills. 
• Must have own tools and boots.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices, navigation of mobile applications and email to document repairs and communication and the ability to learn new platforms
• Positive attitude, team orientated, goal and growth driven. 

Compensation:

🗓️ Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm (7:00 am - 4:00 pm in Charlotte only)
